Do's and Dont's
- THERE IS NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE. Please smoke on one of the porch or other outside areas.
- There are sufficient linens and towels for use during your stay, but you must wash and dry them before you leave.
- You are responsible for bringing your own food and taking all perishable food items home with you.
The house has a wastewater grinder pump system that pushes the house
wastewater uphill to the regular sewage system. The pump is located
between the garage and the wood shed and has a red alarm light on top.
To avoid blockages and damage to the pump, the items listed
below should not be placed into any sink, toilet or drain.
If the alarm light on the grinder system comes on
follow the procedures
listed on the emergency page.

- Degreasing solvents
- Abrasive materials, including:
- glass
- coffee grounds
- metal
- cat litter
- sand
- cigarette butts
- aquarium stone
- seafood shells
- Plastic objects, including:
- toys
- eating utensils
- Socks, rags or cloths
- Hair clippings
- Sanitary napkins or tampons
- Disposable diapers
- Personal wipes (and other products marked "flushable")
- Explosives
- Flammable materials. Including:
- gasoline
- diesel fuel
- Lubricating oil, grease, paint
- Strong chemicals, toxics,caustic or poisonous substances
- Storm water runoff
